Call For Papers - Hacker Summer 2026
Hacker Summer is a month-long Red Teaming event by Altered Security that is designed for Red Teamers, security professionals, students, and security enthusiasts. The previous version of the event recorded participation from more than 10K security professionals.
The event consists of research talks (virtual), research blog posts, giveaways and discounts for the entire month on red teaming, identity security, Azure red teaming and AI security.
To encourage original research, open source tool development and presentation skills, we are opening two speaking slots to the community.
We are looking for high quality, practical and original research, open source tools, and practical techniques related to the following topics:

Cloud Red Teaming

Identity security

AI Red Teaming
Talks including live demos, practical tradecraft and open source tools will be preferred.

Submission Guidelines
Required information

Title: A cool, concise title.

Abstract: Abstract of the talk.

Outline: Detailed outline of the talk.

Level: Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced.

Speaker Bio: Name, Background and relevant experience.

Speaker headshot: A clear headshot.
-
Previous Presentation: Details if the talk has been presented previously.

Previous Speaking Experience: Details of other previous talks by the submitter.

Supporting materials: Slide decks, whitepaper and code.
Speaker Perks

An opportunity to present a talk in front of a global audience consisting of fellow professionals and researchers.

$500 honorarium after the presentation.

Access to any course from Altered Security course catalogue (non-transferable).

Procedure

You may submit multiple presentation proposals (maximum 3).

You will receive an acknowledgement that your submission has been received.
Terms & Conditions
Proposal Terms

Submissions including original research, tools, or demonstrations will be given priority.

Individuals may submit up to three unique proposals.
-
AI/LLM‑generated text is prohibited. Acceptable use will be to polish or refine author‑written material.

All submissions and materials are accessible to the Review Board.

It is expected that any questions by the Review Board will be answered on priority.

Notifications of acceptances and/or declines are conducted on a rolling basis.
Terms Upon Acceptance

Speakers grant Altered Security permission to record, reproduce, distribute, advertise, and show a speaker's presentation in audio, video and other formats.
-
Speaker replacements are not allowed without prior approval and will only be considered in health emergencies.

Speaker course access is non‑transferable.
-
If a presentation is found to contain plagiarism, AI generated, or a vendor pitch, Altered Security reserves the right to cancel the talk and withdraw the honorarium.
Call For Papers - AltSecCON 2026
AltSecCON is Altered Security’s premier security conference designed for practical and open discussions. The conference is designed for Red Teamers, security professionals, students, and security enthusiasts.
The event consists of three days of hands-on training focused on On-Prem Red Team, Azure Attacks and AI Red Teaming. The training is followed by a one day, single track conference and workshops on red teaming, identity security, Azure red teaming and AI security.
We are looking for high quality, practical and original research, open source tools, and practical techniques related to the following topics:

$500 honorarium after the presentation.

Air travel (Economy) - Up to $1000 for international speakers and up to INR 25,000 for domestic speakers. The reimbursement will be per talk on receipt basis.

Accommodation - Up to 3 nights.

Access to the conference.
